The “Don’t Skip Consent” Campaign is intended to teach about the main aspects of consent.

CONSENT IS FREELY GIVEN

Your choice is made without any pressure of manipulation forcing you to choose one way or another.

These lyrics are a bad example of consent and are very controlling.

CONSENT IS REVERSIBLE

You can change your mind about what you feel like doing at any point in time. Don’t feel pressured to continue what you’re doing. These song lyrics are a great example of Reversible.

Click the "play" icon to listen to a song that shows an example of reversible consent.

CONSENT IS INFORMED

You and your partner(s) have a full understanding of what you’ve agreed to.

CONSENT IS ENTHUSIASTIC

You only do things you want to do, not what you’re expected to do.

CONSENT IS SPECIFIC

Just because you consented to one thing does not mean you’ve said yes to others.

CONSENT IS CONTINUOUS

Asking for consent happens continuously throughout the entire experience.

CONSENT IS CASUAL

Talking about consent should be casual and easy to discuss with friends or partners.
