    I am fearless because even when faced with the toughest parts of my life I have made it through. Because of this I feel prepared to tackle anything life can throw at me.

    I am fearless because of those around me. I’ve seen how my friends have overcame terrible situations and how fearless they were through all of it. Because of them I know that I can be fearless in anything I face. My best friends life has been 100% harder than mine, yet she’s fearless and continues to live her best life everyday. If she can go through everything she has in her short life and still be fearless, why can’t I?

I’m is fearless for those who haven’t yet found their footing to be fearless and because I believes we don’t have the luxury to not be involved in violence prevention any longer. I was fearless in my work as a Victim Advocate, allowing many students to focus on healing instead of repeating their trauma.

    I am fearless because I believe that we can end sexual violence. Fearless is not the absence of fear. Fearless is having doubts. For me, being fearless means continuing to work toward what you want over and over again. I am fearless in my efforts to help students succeed.
